All For One, One for All, Parte Deux

Welcome to the Canton of Salesberie Glen, where the fencing is hot and the
women are hot, er, to watch the fencing.  The year is 1599, and as a
musketeer, you're broke.  You see a tavern, and decided to put on a show...

Martial Activities:  There will be the Tourney of the Headless Chicken,
which is a tavern brawl, with teams of four defending and four attacking.
The goal is to grab as much food as possible before the time limit is up.
Authorizations will begin promptly at 10 AM, and the fighting will begin at
11 AM.

Following a break, there will be the Tourney of Gascony, a tourney to first
blood.  Before each round, you must creatively insult your opponent, so do
not leave your wit at home.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  There will be a competition for best fencing
garb and best use of lace.  The same item may be entered in both categories.

Cost:	Adult, Member:	  $5.00 Day-Trip    $11.00 Day Trip + Feast
	Adult, Non-Member:  $8.00 Day-Trip	  $14.00 Day Trip + Feast
	 Child (6-17):	  $3.00 Day-Trip	  $6.00 Day Trip + Feast
	 Child (3-5):	  $2.00 Day-Trip	  $5.00 Day Trip + Feast

Cost Notes:  Children under 2 enter and eat free, but they do need a
reservation for feast.

Site:  The site is Ellis Park, 3541 Old Mocksville Road, Salisbury, NC
28144. The site opens at 9 AM and closes at 8 PM.
	Site Restrictions:  The site is DRY, and no pets allowed.  Smoking will be
permitted in the designated area.

Feast Information:  The Head Cook for the day will be our own Renard LeNoir,
wielder of epee and ladle.  He will be serving a dayboard from 11 AM to 1
PM, and a tavern-style feast for one hundred gentles (or not-so-gentles)
after the fighting.  Please address any dietary concerns to him at either
twofencers at earthlink.net or 704-279-2255, between 5 and 9 PM.

Merchanting Information:  Merchants are all welcome, but indoor space is
very, very limited.

Directions:  From I-85, take exit 76-B towards Salisbury.  That will put you
on Innes Street, and take that for about 3 miles or so.  You will pass a
Sonic halfway there.  There will be a traffic light, and you want to turn
right on Mahaley.  After another mile or so, turn left on Old Mocksville
Road, and take that about 4 miles or so, until you come to a stop sign.  Go
straight through the stop sign, and after about 1/2 a mile, take a left into
Ellis Park.  There will be SCA signs.
