[MR] Thanks from Madrigal Dinners in Durham

Good Gentles,

My thanks go out to all the SCAdians who have helped out with the St.
Philips' Madrigal Dinners. Opening night last night was fantastic, despite a
few minor snags. I feel fairly sure the dancers will get food sooner
tonight. All the right folks have been informed.

The dancers organized by Lady Ellen of York were great. Master Efenwealt was
a fantastic strolling minstrel.

We have banners on loan from Buckston, Elvegast, Mistress Francesca, Lady
Kateryn, Master Corwyn, House Cambian (all the way from Maryland!), Mistress
Rosalind, and others my tired brain may be forgetting. The banners fulfilled
my dream when I first saw the new hall. Their hanging from the rafters and
elsewhere transformed the lovely Parish Hall into a glorious feast  hall.
Thanks so much for your efforts and generosity.

There will be photos posted to the church website sometime soon. I will post
the URL when it is ready. As Master Efenwealt suggested, think small event
with feast sometime in the future in this site.

Two more nights to go. Since we are sold out, there should be a tidy profit
to donate to the Urban Ministries and Soup Kitchen.
