Sorry, but you need to be _very_ careful with this, as these sites point out:

The advice to call is good, solid, and true, but only part of the story. There's a good reason you may have never heard of the service -- it doesn't work in your area. Keep in mind that 911 1) is far more universal, 2) takes the same number of button presses, and 3) wil work even if the cell phone is out of service.
