MARCH 21-AUG. 2 -- "ELIZABETH I, THEN AND NOW" -- The Folger Shakespeare
Library marks the 400th anniversary of the Virgin Queen's death March
21-Aug. 2 with a series of public events and an exhibition that will include
the monarch's personal Bible and a Barbie doll designed after her. 201 East

MARCH 28-SEPT. 7 -- "MAMLUK RUGS OF EGYPT: Jewels of the Textile Museum's
Collections" -- Dating from the late 15th century, colorful rugs evoking

JUNE 6-SEPT. 1 -- "THE FABRIC OF MOROCCAN LIFE" -- The National Museum of
