[MR] Posting Feast Menus

Fair Lady,

I am Werhener von Ingolstadt and, while I have not the dozens of feasts'
experience that some may have, I have done about a half dozen.

I usually post the menu for my feasts. I give the name of the dishes and
(usually) a descriptive translation. I also give the source citation for
the recipes. If there are any unusual ingredients, I will list them with
the description. To date, if anyone has gone "Oh yuck, Swollenburg sauce
again! And those nasty bacon and cheese tarts!", they have not done so to
me. If a person does not like what is being served, it seems to me to be an
act of kindness to warn them ahead of time. On the other hand, I have had
several Good Gentles tell me that the posted menu was what decided them on
staying for dinner. I have, occasionally added dishes to accomodate those
who dislike meat, but I do not change recipes. So I would recommend that
you post your menu proudly and bask in the applause of the appreciative and
adoring Populous. Just my two pense worth. Hope it helps.

Werhener

PS Along those lines, watch for the menu for Ice Ax to be posted soon. It
will feature yummy things from "Das Buke von Guterspice". (Shameless plug)
