Performed by The Nancy Walker Historical Dance Troupe and Hesperus of
Washington, DC
Saturday, March 1st at 4:30 p.m.
Gettysburg Dance Center
Suggested donation for the concert is $12, $10 for seniors, students and
PEMG members, children under 12 admitted free of charge.
In a delightful presentation of historic dance, literature and music Nancy
Walker's Historical Dance Troupe and the nationally acclaimed early music
ensemble, Hesperus, will entertain our region with a Dance Back in Time on
March 1st at 4:30 p.m. at the Gettysburg Dance Center. Pommerian Early Music
Guild is very proud to present our region's premier historic dancer, Nancy
Walker, whose troupe will perform intriguing dances from the Renaissance,
Baroque and Victorian periods complete with complementary historic readings
and unusual music.
PEMG is also extremely pleased to bring back to our region the Washington,
D.C.-based Hesperus with its award-winning crossover music. Their many fine
C.D.s feature early music, blues and folk. This afternoon of fun for all
ages will be held at the Gettysburg Dance Center on Chambersburg Street in
Gettysburg, PA.
Preceding her public performance, Nancy Walker will conduct a historic dance
workshop for adulta and children, ages 10 and older at the Gettysburg Dance
Center from 10 a.m. to 3:30. Any interested person, with or without dance
experience is invited to register for this fun dance into the past by
contacting PEMG ****** February 26th, preferably.
Fee of $40 includes a catered lunch.

Grant Program, which is funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a
state agency, the Adams County Commisioners, and the Borough of Gettysburg.
