IMO, I don't see that it is an obligation. It's nice, and it's
neighborly, but that's not the same thing. Supposing one of the
groups that's relatively near me was holding an event, I would
certainly be tempted to go-getting there is so much easier,
there's no need to arrange for crash space, meals along the way,
etc.. On the other hand, if a collegium of Atlantian heralds was
being held at another branch a good deal farther away, I would be
equally tempted to go there, because there's something at that
event which piques my interest, and, indeed, I might go there.
Also, consider the position of a merchant. Some sites, like
Storvik's Croom Park, don't allow merchants to come and purvey
their goods. Surely, it would be foolish to ask a merchant to
lose money, yes?
