Greetings,
Their Highnesses have given me the great honor of entrusting me to organize Atlantia's Encampment at Pennsic again this year.
Their Highnesses would like to see a Grand Encampment used by Their populace this year for teas, meetings, courts, get togethers and the like. Some events already scheduled are a hand fasting, the Knowne World Ladies of the Rose Happy Hour, Atlantian Court with an Atlantian Party to follow (more to come on this, it should be GREAT fun). As Pennsic gets closer I am sure there will be many more wonderful gatherings planned (if you are interested in holding an event at the camp, please contact me for scheduling).
In order to show Atlantia's great spirit of hospitality, there needs to be provisions such as a Grimm's Tent, and tables & chairs as well as consumables such as water, lemonade, ice, and snacks. In the past, generous people have given from their own pocket to fund these efforts, but as Their Highnesses have graciously offered to open this camp to Their populace, fund raisers will be held to help make the Atlantian camp the best ever.
The first of these opportunities to contribute will be this weekend at the Barony of Bright Hill's Anniversary of Amore.
In the coming months there will be other fundraisers held, so stay tuned.
As per the Exchequer's policy, a detailed list of what the funds raised will go to pay for will be provided at each fundraiser, and any money raised above what is needed to cover expenses at Pennsic will be donated to the Kingdom Travel Fund.
If you have any questions or if you would like to sponsor one of these fundraisers at your event, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you!
Countess Mary-Grace of Gatland
