Greetings everyone,

My lord Jared and I want to extend a very gracious thank you to everyone who
attended Ymir. For behaving.

No, seriously ... it is a strictly dry site and as such we as the staff have
repeatedly encouraged people to follow the site rules and not bring alcohol to
the event. As constable, Jared patrolled Friday night, all day Sat, foregoing
fighting, and all Sat. evening until close to midnight. He saw nothing
untoward. Sunday morning he and Riley and I all policed the trash on the site.
We found empty Sprite cans and instant oat meal packets. Naughty SCAdians!
Oversugared! Eating your fiber! For shame! *grin*

But no bottles, no cans, no nothing that should not have been there from any
cabin or in any of the big bin cans around the site.

THANK YOU!!!!!

We all know that we'd like to have the freedom to drink if some of us so choose
but some of the best sites for the /day's/ activities simply do not allow that
activity in the evening. We make do and enjoy the day at the really nice site.
And thanks to all of you we can continue to enjoy Camp Kananta. Great job!
