Unfortunately this highlights a common problem in competitions: I have had
the opportunity/pleasure/misfortune of judging for 8 hours straight,
and when you're judging a lot of pieces, it becomes increasingly difficult
to read page after page, for entry after entry! (And yes, and there ARE
those who just don't read the documentation....sigh. )

I urge people to write clearly, SUCCINCTLY, and highlight things that are
really important. (Use bold, red, etc.) Use headings with short
paragraphs-this helps the judges locate information. If appropriate, try
lists/bullets. Try having a short version (a couple of pages), followed by
more detailed information , and label it as such. If statements in the
first section need clarification, this allows the judge to look further.

We're all part of the process.
