Absolutely. I remember the fun comments from Mistress
Isobel Gildingwater when she used to judge scribing
competitions and would say "Next step: ....." and
insert wonderful suggestions about how to improve my
scribing. It was a huge help to me and several other
scribes and gave me realistic goals to work towards.

Absolutely. I have a question that's more "food for
thought" rather than something that requires a
response.

Are obnoxious comments from several people or are
these negative comments in judging from one or two
people who have been obnoxious all over kingdom. If
the answer is the second then obviously they're
bullies. If you let them discourage you, then are you
letting them control your happiness, especially if
you've had the wonderful experience of winning?

I'm really not accusing or asking for a response but I
wanted to bring a different perspective on the
subject.

My attitude is obvious. If I'm winning and someone
tells me "this has no place or it's stupid" my
immediate response is kiss my little white
you_know_what.
