[MR] reactions to competitions

I also agree with you Lady Rebecca...
I enter competitions or put items on display for the
grand fun of the whole thing. Okay I will admit I do
like to show off my latest project but most of all I
LOVE to check out what others are currently making.
You never know when a new/period great idea will come
along. i.e. Wax Tablets....
Winning is good but hey, you can't win every time so
just do your best work and check out the winners or
other displays carefully to see how you can improve
your skill, documentation, presentation for the next
time.
Showing off your skills can be fun and a valuable
learning experience. Competitions and displays in my
opinion shouldn't be passed up. People will say the
nicest things to you. :-)
