Actually, in re: geese, I was wondering about getting the quills for pens. It seems a waste to kill a goose just to get quills. Is it possible to pluck feathers so they grow back? And however would you keep one of them calm enough to do it? Yes, this is the sort of weird thing we scribes sometimes wonder about... :-) Renata von Hentzau
