[MR] A&S Competitions at Ymir

February 14th will see the annual return of Windmasters' Hill's Tourney
of Ymir. This year there will be a number of Arts and Sciences
competitions and classes. 

The theme will be Viking items and crafts to "Keep the Winter at Bay".
These would include items that keep you warm (in body or spirit), or
things that are either made by or produce heat, or that distract you
from the cold. Documentation is highly recommended. All entries must be
in place by 1:00 PM.(Please remember this is a dry site, so alcoholic
entries are not permitted)

There will also be a "Weapons Container" contest sponsored by Lady
Rosalind and Lord Gaston. Entries should be items such as weapon boxes,
racks, bags or other things that add to the period ambiance of the
field, and help prevent the sideline sprawl. Entries should be brought
to the FIELD at the beginning of authorizations. No Documentation is
required for this particular contest. 

We are also offering classes to entertain and inform. Some currently
planned are Hnefatafl (Viking game), Easy Edge Embroidery, and Viking
Beads.
