	On Saturday January 24th, the Shire of Border Vale Keep 
invites you to spend the day with us for fun, fighting and bardic. 
Our almost, occasionally, annual Mid-Winters Tale is at hand!  This 
below-the-salt event will be held at the 4-H Club in Augusta Ga. 
Feast will be buffet style.  Please bring a covered dish that will 
serve at least 6-8 people.  The Shire will provide meat (ham and 
turkey).  Bring your winter A&S projects to display, completed or 
not.  Various board games will be on hand for your enjoyment. (If you 
have a favorite, bring it along).

Marshal Activities:  We will have both heavy and rapier, bring your stuff.

Site fee is $5, non-members add $3, smalls 6-12 $2, children under 6 
are guests of the Shire.  Please make checks payable to Shire of 
Border Vale Keep, SCA INC. Site opens 8:00 am.  Site closes at 9:30

Site is Dry, No alcohol allowed.
No pets allowed.  This is 4-H Club policy.

Directions to the site:

 From Interstate 20 east or west in Georgia, take exit 196B (I-520, 
heading towards Ft. Gordon and the airport) to exit 10, Doug Barnard 
Parkway.  Take a right at the top of the ramp. Pass the airport (on 
your left).  When the road becomes 2 lanes, look on the right for 4-H 
Club Rd. (SCA signs will be posted). See You there
