Vladimir and I will be bringing at least 2 axes and
at least 3 centergrip roundshields.

Incidentally, if you are using the rubber axeheads
from <www.mandrakearmory.com> (or other similar ones),
it's really easy to cut some designs into the rubber
that surrounds the haft and fill in the cuts
with a gold or silver ink pen.
Steel wool the excess ink off and your axe will
look like it has inlay work on it!

I have to say that the axes look a whole lot fiercer
that way. :)

Melrakki and Vladimir were going at each other with
the axes at a recent fighter practice. They were
in close, with their axe-hafts touching, jockeying
for the right position to land a blow. They were
moving so fast that the friction started singeing
the rattan - they stopped their fight because they
smelled burning rattan!
