T&T: OCTOBER 18TH

The Dread Baron Barre FitzRobert of York and his Baroness, the Fair Cordelia,
declare that this year the Barony of the Bright Hills' traditional T'n'T is a
Quest for the Baronial Champions in chivalric and rapier combat, archery, the
Arts and Sciences and the bardic arts.

They invite one and all to join them on Saturday, October 18th, 2003 to aid
in this Quest. The event will be held at Christ Our King Episcopal Church,
1930 Brookdale Road, Baltimore, Maryland. It will be a one day event, with no
camping. There will be, however, quests for all age groups.

The quests will take place in the morning. Authorization and sign-ups for the
championship tournaments will begin at 11.00 am. The tournaments and melees
will take place after lunch. The judging of the A&S competitions, the turnip
carving contest and the bardic championship will be at 3.00 pm.

There will be a heavy weapons and archery quest in honor of the great victory
at Agincourt on St. Crispin's Day. (Hint: check out your Shakespeare)

Questers often find thing are not always as they seem, so a theme for the
day, including the bardic and A&S competitions, is "Illusions." Illusion foods
will be most welcome in the competition.

The children may eat at a separate feast, dress in costumes and
trick-or-treat the feast hall between removes.

The feast will be cooked by the renowned Bright Hills Cooks Guild lead by
Lady Brianna Llewellyn Lindsey (Mandi Elliott-Bird) birdstm at comcast.net, 410
598-3422. Those with special dietary concerns or problems should contract Lady
Bryanna by October the 10th.

The site will be open from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. Early birds will be pressed
into service with set up and anyone still on site after 10:00 pm will be
presumed to have volunteered for cleanup. The site is discretely wet, and
although we love them, please leaves four-legged members of the family at home.

On board fees: Adult (over 12) $12.00
                   Child (5 to 12) 5.00

Off board fees: Adult 5.00
                   Child 3.00

Children under 5 are the quests of the Barony. Adults without membership
cards should expect to pay an extra $3.00. Make checks payable to "Barony of
Bright Hills/SCA, Inc."
