So as not to unduely upset the populace, please try to include ALL pertinent
information when referencing proposed changes to various policies.

What people fail to realize is that the changes to the Atlantian armor
standards for scouts, combat archers, etc. are only being changed in a
somewhat minor way.  The Combat archer armor requirements (which also apply
to scouts) as they are posted on the marshal's webpage:

3.5.2 Combat Archery Weapons and Armor Standards
3.5.2.1 Armor Regulations.
3.5.2.1.1 When utilized in conjunction with armored combat,
armor standards for combat archery shall be the same as those for
armored combat participants except that the knees, elbows and hands need
not be armored beyond SCA Non-Contact Armor minimums and helms must be
clearly marked with white diamonds (minimum length of 3 inches per side)
on all four sides.
(The SCA Missile Combat Rules [available on line at:
http://www.sca.org/officers/marshal/combat/archery/index.html] requires
a minimum of resilient kneepads, leather gloves, and shoes or boots to
be worn to protect the limbs.)<<<<<

The only changes are to the hand, knee, and elbow protection requirements.
