And of course, if you can't wait till an event to get your gaming fix, you
can always
visit Isenfir's Red Mountain Inn and try the online version of Crowns and
Anchors!

Milady,
There are a number of avid gamers, myself among them, scattered around the
Realm. I'm sure that finding a fun and effective way to promote period
gaming would be more than welcome! Finding a way to organize gamers so that
we worked together might well be a way to do so.
I certainly hope that you will consider volunteering yourself to undertake
such a task!
That said, I wouldn't worry too much about "officialness", Guilds, Guild
Charters, rules, regulations, etc.
Just volunteer to organize fun activities, motivate others to do so, and
find a way to get the information out to those who are interested. No one
will stop you, and many will thank you!
If, after things are organized and moving along nicely, if an "official
Guild" proves to be useful, **and less trouble than the usefulness it
provides**, that will become apparent. With official status come official
rules and all the paperwork that may entail - which will cut into your
gaming time!
Feel free to add me to your list of folks who can show up at events with
games and teach them. You may call me at
910 624-6214 if you would like a sounding board on how to go about it, or
just for some aural encouragement!
