Mistress Genna and Mistress Deirdre will be sponsoring another round of their competition for period-styled scrolls at the Arts and Sciences exhibit at Sapphire Joust. Prizes include some high-quality scribal supplies and a writing desk!

We will be looking for scrolls done in the manner of period legal documents such as charters and grants, with a general concentration on appropriate scripts and decoration, but we also would like to see texts based on period usage. If you have any questions about what we are looking for, please contact Mistress Deirdre O'Siodhachain (Terry Sheehan) at t.sheehan at verizon.net. I'll be more than happy to explain or send digital images as examples.

Genna and I are looking forward to seeing your entries.

Your servant,

Deirdre
