I have to second Hróðny on this. I have seen it myself, and knowing how
wonderful it felt to see my beloved get her AoA and her Baronial service
award, I feel bad for the loved ones who miss out. I've seen people get
their AoA's in absentia, because no one made sure they got to the event
themselves!

May I suggest a solution? When writing to the Coronets or Crowns with an
award recommendation, include the name of the best friend or S.O. who can
organize others. Anyone who knows someone well enough to recommend them
ought to be able to figure out who the chief co-conspirator should be.
