Everyone has their own reasons for going to court (or
not going to court). I go because it's nice to see my
friends and family get "cookies". However, I would go
to court whether they received an award or not.
I think that we could spend the effort we expend on
surprise in other more creative and fulfilling ways...
Making court more spiff with pageantry and the like is
just one example.
