A game board, as a durible good, could not be
purchased as an event expense, but would rather, as
you suggest early be bought from a groups general
funds, as would loaner clothes, armour etc.

Sorry to add to the bandwidth, but I think it's
important for folks to realize the limitations on an
event autocrat.
