[MR] Elevation to GoA of Kraken, Sea Stag, GD,. Pearl, Yew Bow

Greetings all!

As I am sure all are well aware, I've been working on the record keeping portion of the elevation of the former AoA level awards to GoA, and the website will be available shortly for all to view.

For all of you who were querying that the precedence from the new GoA leveled the ranking field, that's actually not quite right. I was waiting to write out the database before I confirmed this to all...

Remember that the order of precedence is done via ranking, like this:

01. Ducal
02. County
03. VisCounty
04. Knight, Pelican, Laurel, Rose
05. Landed Baronage
10. GoA level awards (Kraken, Sea Stag, Dolphin,
    Pearl, Yew Bow, White Scarf, other kingdom's GoA level)
11. Bare GoA
15. AoA level awards (Silver Osprey, Opal, Bright Leaf,
    King's Missilers, other kingdom's AoA level)
20. Bare AoA
30. Kingdom level, non armigious awards
35. Principality level, non armigious awards
40. Baronial awards

In essence, we all were given BARE GoA's, even though that was not the intent... this is because they were NOT dated WITH the Grant level award (because Monarchs are not allowed to give an award outside Their reign and back dating these GoAs would be doing that)... SO... all those (361 people listed at bottom, which includes those with peerages) have a GoA dated 1 Apr 03, but the Grant Level award that caused that GoA to be placed there is HIGHER and thus everyone's ranking is still based on when they got the award.

Within the next, oh week or two, everyone will be able to see that on the website. I had to, due to a non-related issue, restructure the database quite a bit and had to rewrite all the queries and reports. That mixed with real life has caused this process to be a lot longer than I meant and I am placing it out there before the user friendliness changes are available. I apologize for taking so long, but promise that it will not be too much longer before the website is updated. Plus I lost (due to hard drive failure and being laid off, then getting a new job) a number of email requests to make changes... so if a change you requested isn't there, please just send it again to checkylady at earthlink.net.

Below is the listing of the 361 people who had one of these awards and did not have a GoA and who I am fairly certain live in Atlantia. If there is someone on this list who is NOT in kingdom, please let me know so I can adjust their record.

Would someone please forward to the Sea Stag and Yew Bow list? Also, is there a Kraken list is the making?
