fellow atlantians,
 beginning this fall there will be a new location for sca events in
Atlantia. a beautiful 60 acre farm has been purchased and is in the
process of preparation as a site specifically for sca events. this will
eventually include two stone castles for heavy fighting, an alley and
narrow street 1500's town for light fighting, a wooded area for woods
fights, and a very large open area for melees. amenities will eventually
include cabins, a shower/restroom facility, and large open and wooded
areas for camping. there is four acre spring fed lake on the property.
there will be a playground area for children, several nearby parking
areas for dragons. the site is between interstates 77 and 40 near Elkin,
North Carolina. anyone interested in making suggestions for improvements
we could make on this property is encouraged to contact rufus pigboy at
336 835 7774 or at wtriplette at infoave.net. we want to make this the
ideal sca site, so please don't be shy stating what you would want to
see here.
