Similarly, I became a herald because I don't fight, thanks to a
medical condition. Devora brings her spinning or her weaving to
events, too.

Also, she's spot-on about helping in the kitchen or the hall.
Even if you're just a lowly leek chopper like myself, whatever
effort you make to help with the feast is going to be rewarded
with solid friendship. Putting on an event can be a marathon for
the officers and the event staff, and any help, no matter the
source, that they receive is received with gratitude, IME.
