We sure hope everyone who came to our block-printing workshop had a good
time, and I hope to see all of you at our next workshop.
(Plus, of course, anyone else who wants to come!)
We are looking at Saturday, November 30th, for our next in-home workshop
in Fayetteville, NC.
We haven't picked a topic yet. We can accommodate one woodshop oriented
topic and one textile-oriented topic.
Any requests?
Here are some ideas:
Tablet-weaving.
Making a tablet weaving loom.
Making a warp-weighted loom.
Making chairs.
Weaving on a warp-weighted loom (best after we have a few more looms
built...)
Block printing.
Shoe-making.
Working with Bone.
Working with Horn.
Making a Belt.
Making a Pouch.
Making a Drinking Horn.
Making a Severed Head to bring out at parties and show one's friends or
to throw at one's enemies. (best after drinking horns have been used...)
Making persona-appropriate games.
Naturally, some topics may require special materials, and people might
have to bring the materials/tools themselves, or pay ahead of time for
us to get them for them.
