[MR] Rapier at Kingdom Crusades

Greetings all from Aedan,

I am looking forward to a fine war and hope to see
many of you there.  For those that will be fighting
rapier at Crusades, here is the schedule.

9am - 10am	- Inspections and authorizations
10am - 11am	- Free Scholar prize for Lord Gavin
11am - Noon	- Lunch break
Noon - 2pm	- Broken Field melees (war point)
2pm on	- Mixed melee scenarios

Lest you think there won't be enough fighting going
on, there will be the semi-traditional "everyone for
themselves" warm up melee and plenty of small,
fast melee scenarios during the morning and afternoon.

There *will* be a rapier war point.  It will be decided
by the best 2 out of 3 broken field melees.  This
means an open field with some large obstacles
to maneuver around.

Basic conventions for the melee are:

- epees/foils
- no resurrection
- Society-ish draw cuts (4" - 6" length and 1 to a limb)
- eye contact acknowledgement or being in a line for engagement
- no DFB (death from behind) or RBG's (rubber band guns)
- no mailed glove
- legged = planted
- disarmed can stay on field but ONLY if safe (i.e. no
throwing your body on enemy's blades) and can be
called dead like combat archers in armored

The rest of the melees may use other conventions, have
resurrection, differing terrain, etc...
