Greeting unto the people of fair Atlantia from Duke Logan Ebonwoulfe and
Sir Godfried of Frisia on this 25th day of October A.S. XXXVII, being
2002 C.E.

Upon the command of Their Royal Majesties the counsel received from the
Knights of this kingdom and by our own desire to atone for our
transgressions do we humbly submit ourselves to you.

On September 28, at the event known as Golden Moon we had a short, yet
very visible, disagreement on the field. Our behavior was not desirable
and was wholly inappropriate on a field of honorable men. For this, we
are in a state of self-reproach and offer our complete regret for those
actions. We ask that every Atlantian citizen share the obligation that
we failed to ensure, that obligation being one of courtesy. The need
for courtesy in all things is a responsibility we all are charged with
in the society. We failed as Atlantians and as Knights in that
responsibility and ask for your understanding and acceptance in our
failure.

Our regrettable actions have served as a sure sign that gentlemen of any
station are bound by the demands of courtesy and, regardless of that
station, sometimes fail in that duty. As such, we intend to chair an
open discussion on ways we can all deal with the sometimes-difficult
situations both on and off the field. These discussions will focus
primarily on communication, investigation and resolution. We would
welcome any insight, suggestions, techniques, and thoughts on how this
can best be handled. This will hopefully be held at a future university
and the date of this will be posted as soon as we can nail down it down.

Please send your comments for this future discussion to either Duke
Logan at dukelogan at directvinternet.com or Sir Godfried at
SirGodfried at cs.com
