Duchess Simone is sponsoring a prize for Best Male and
Best Female garb at the Crown Tourney edition of
Tempore Atlantia. The prize will be fabric.
Again, the highlighted time period is 1493-1600.
The full list of award categories is:
-Overall Best in Show & Best Documentation (Sponsored
by KMOAS office)
-Best in show & best documentation, Enlish related
(sponsored by Lady Kateryn Rous)
-MULTIPLE scribal awards (sponsored by the Scrivner
Royal, Lady Branwen)
-Poetry Award (sponsored by Mistress Ceridwen)
-Baking contests (adult & youth) (sponsored by the
Royal Baker, Master Tirloch)
-Best Male & Female garb (sponsored by Duchess Simone)
These are just the competition categories. ALL items
documentable to 1493-1600 are welcome, and artisans
are welcome to mark their items as 'for display only.'
If you would like to sponsor a prize for this or
future Tempore Atlantia competitions, in general all
you would need to do is set the category and supply
the prize. In most cases the judges will do the work
of selecting a winner for the prize (although some
sponsors have asked in the past to review the judging
sheets/OK the winner, which is fine if we know that
ahead of time!).
FUTURE TEMPORE DISPLAYS/COMPETITIONS:
Crown Tourney: 1493-1600
Twelfth Night: Pre-1000
Spring Coronation: 1000-1250
Spring Crown Tourney:1250-1492
Yrs,
Kateryn Rous
