Get off I-95 at Bowling Green/Carmel Church (exit 102 or 104, I think), heading
for Bowling Green. There is cheap gas at that exit. Eventually, you join up
with US 301, which you can take through Dun Carraig. At Bowie, it turns into
MD 3 (don't get off on US 50), and about 8-10 miles later joins I-97.

Take I-97 through the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel, and you will rejoin I-95 on
the north side of Baltimore.

You might want to consider this anyway as a way to avoid the Springfield
Mixing Bowl.

One downside: the Nice bridge over the Potomac. Two lines, goes way up.
If you are phobic about such things, you could have problems here.

yours,
Herveus
