I recommend making what your'e going to put on the horn before you attatch
it. For attatching, it's not a bad idea to carve a little niche or groove
for your fittings to 'fit' in, that way they don't slide around. I've used
epoxy with good results for attatching things. Somewhere I heard that
stones were attatched with a type of epoxy to wood in some of the Viking
ship burials, so I dont' feel bad about using it...though i'm still
curious about the history of epoxy! <grin>
