Treasures of Castilla y  Leon

An exhibition of Spanish religious art from Castilla and Leon
from October to November 24. 2002 is being held at The Cathedral of
St. John the Divine in Manhattan.
The exhibit presents rare books from 1100's to 1600's, from
illuminated  manuscripts to a Guttenberg Bible.
 In addition you can view art objects, sculptures and paintings.
These art objects are property of various monasteries, churches
in towns and cities within the region of the Junta de Castilla y Leon.

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is located
in Amsterdam Avenue and 112th Street. On the West Side of Manhattan
Buses: M4;M11;M60;M104;M11 or subway IRT 1 or 9 to 110th St. Station.
 Hours: open from 9-5
