Love deserves a second day !  Extend your Valentine's
Day with the Barony of Bright Hills on February 15,
2002, from  10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at  The Lodge, 2832
Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD

Children 5 and under will be guests of the barony.

Join us as we celebrate the Romance and the joys of
Courtly Love, with costume contests featuring famous
lovers or forms of love; poetry, bardic and static
arts and sciences competitions on the themes of love
and valentines; and a cooking competition for
aphrodisiacs.

And when love speaks, the voice of all the gods makes
heaven drowsy with the harmony.
William Shakespeare

Master Shakespeare will audition players for his new
play, "Romeo and Juliet" with a competition for
couples to perform the balcony scene (scripts will be
provided).

The day's competitions will culminate in the winners
participating in the battle for the Tower of Love.

Rumors abound of mysterious noble visitors, some on
romantic quests, and of rivalries that may erupt in
swordplay. Watch for notices posted in the Merry Rose
Tavern for more details.

And of course, no Bright Hills event would be complete
without a sumptuous feast by the Bright Hills Cooks
Guild.
