Greetings from Lady Melisent of Caer Mear, Event
Steward for the Feast of St. Fortunatus.
I'd like to thank everyone who has sent in their
reservations so far and encourage everyone who plans
to attend to send in a reservation. Feast is steadily
filling up.
Also, I have received several emails concerning the
address to send you reservation to. Yes, there is a
decimal in the street address. The address listed in
the Acorn is correct.

The Feast of St. Fortunatus
December the 14th marks the feast of Saint
Fortunatus, bishop and poet. Likewise on this day,
come celebrate the elevation of the poet, Friar Thomas
Broadpaunch to the august Order of the Laurel as Caer
Mear dons 13th century costumes of red, black, and
gold.
There will be a full days activities including
childrens activities, an open challenge in which
the Order of the Chivalry will hold the field against
all comers, a rapier tourney, an open A&S display, as
well as an A&S Competition, the theme of which shall
be "The Written Word" (including poetry, C&I, song
lyrics, etc.) After Court, we shall dine on a feast
(limited to 120 gentles) prepared by the renowned
cooks of Caer Mear, and enjoy a Masque with the theme
of Saints and Maryters. Here is a link to a web page

The site is Fluvanna High School, located in Palmyra,
VA. The site opens at 8 am and closes at 11 pm. As
this is a public school, no alcohol, live steel, or
pets are allowed on site. Merchants are gladly
welcomed but space is limited so please contact Master
