PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THOSE IN THE WASHINGTON DC AREA:

The Washington Opera is looking for supers (spear carriers, soldiers, guards)
for our upcoming production of AIDA.  (Think Egypt) We need about 55 men for
the production - some body builder types that don't mind showing some chest
and other "well built" men.

The production performances are Feb 22, 24, 26, March 1, 3, 8, 11 with staging
and dress rehearsals 2 weeks before opening night.

Rehearsals will be held in Takoma Park DC (3 blocks from Metro) and
performances are at the DAR Constitution Hall.

Compensation:  $25 per performance, invitation to the company party (where all
performers will be - including Placido Domingo) and the chance to be on stage
in a really cool production of Aida that uses 3-D projections.

No acting experience required.
