Nov. 15th Nov. 17th Feast of Saint Dismas
Canton of Cyddlain Downs

Greetings good Gentles, come join the Canton of Cyddlain Downs as we
celebrate the Patron Saint of Thieves with the Feast of Saint Dismas.
During the day we have activities planned for both young and old, fighters
and artists.
There will be a Magic Tourney for the heavy fighters and Lady Etaine and
Lord Liam plan various scenarios for the fencers.

Children¹s activities will include jousting with pool noodles. We also
plan to have our traditional pouch-stealing contest. To keep some semblance
of law and order at the event, our shire reeve will be on the look out for
scofflaws and brigands. Anyone caught breaking the law will be summarily
placed in the stocks. (However, since the reeve is in hoc to the local
baron, rumor has it that he can be bought off.)
There will be ample room for Arts and Sciences displays and all are
encouraged to bring their work and share it with the populace. There is no
set theme for the display. All are welcome to bring finished items or works
in progress. I hope to have half dozen (or more) Laurels there to be
available to talk with interested Artists. Lady Tegan will be teaching a
hands on class in glass bead making. There will be a story telling / bardic
contest during the feast with a larcenous theme. The winner will be chosen
by popular acclaim.
A Breakfast will be served both days and Mistress Genna will prepare a
wondrous Below the Salt feast. The site is absolutely DRY and no pets are
allowed.
