BE IT KNOWN  to alle that professe arms that we, The Honorable Lords
Percival Aldridge and Gunther van Drakenburg, and Sir Daemon Broussard,
Provosts of the Noble Science of Defence in the Kingdom of Atlantia, do
give leave and licence to our Scholar, Christopher mac an Conaing, a
student from Percy's Practicale Schoole of Defense, to play his
Freescholar's Prize against all answerers in their subtile mysterie at
these weapons: single rapier, rapier & dagger, case of rapiers, rapier &
buckler, as well as long sword with target and pike, according to the code
of conduct stated in the charters of our most illustrious guild.  This is
to give notice that our said Scholar will be present the 9th day of
November at Passage East to perform and do his utter most for the
acheivement and bearing away of the prize.
