[MR] Pages Activities at Crown Tourney

Just wanted to remind Pages that there will an on-site
roll of arms competition at Fall Crown Tourney for
youths ages 9-17.  This competition will be in the
form
of linked verses of a Haiku-like period form of
Japanese poetry (Renga)describing the different bouts
between combatants (one stanza per bout) and
may include illustrations at the entrants option.
Full rules for the form will be available on site.
  There will be prizes for best entry
in the age group 9-11, 12-13, and 14-17.  Entry in the
competition will garner the entrants A&S credit for
Pages (1 credit for every hour the tourney runs in
which they write lines and an achievement badge for
entering the competition).  We encourage pages to
enter the other A&S competitions being offered at
Crown Tourney as well.

Youths need not be pages to enter the competition.
