[MR] Newcomer calling all hands....

Hands that sign, that is.

I'm a newcomer to the Middle Ages reenactments of SCA, and attended my first
event this past weekend at the kind assistance of Mistress Caitlin
Cheannlaidir of Storvik.

It'll come as no surprise that I am hooked, and to make my future attendance
at events more fruitful, I am sending out this call to any subjects of the
Atlantia Kingdom in MD, DC, VA and PA to contact me so that I may compile a
private list for myself of signers in the Kingdom with whom I could converse
while at events. [I'll ask for signers in Delaware to contact me too, even
if they are subjects of the East Kingdom.]  I live near Chestertown on the
Eastern Shore of MD. My guess is that Bright Hills, Roxbury Mill, Storvik,
Ponte Alto and Lochmere will have the greatest number of signers due to
their closeness to Gallaudet University, the university for deaf students in
DC.

I'm especially interested in learning pottery, printmaking and bookbinding
arts to start, and would appreciate suggestions to events that will cover
those skills.
