Greetings to all,
As some my have heard I am autocrating  event in May. The scenario is built 
around a 40 foot tall enclosed repelling tower that will be used in the 
fighting. We are wecoming all siege engineers, archers, and heavy fighters 
to attend. There is a website with the official rules off the Marinus web 
page.This is a unique scenario as there are ways to distroy res points, move 
them, and some other interesting tacticle scenarios. When we did this a few 
years ago, the participants had a very good time.

I especially want to invite archers as they will have oportunities to shoot 
from the tower and other structures we are setting up. The castle will have 
twice the archers as the attackers.

This is also the first event were we are going to authorise seige engines 
and engineers. It will be a simple procedure very simular to what archers go 
through. I am going to update the provisional rules to reflect this in the 
next few days.

As for the Heavies, this is going to be as close to actual siege as I can 
make it. The end of the battle will be one hour prior to feast. If the 
winning conditions are met by the attackers and the castle is sacked they 
get the prise to be divided by their captain. If the Defenders hold off the 
attackers, they get the prize. The prise is a large chest filled with as 
much stuff as I can get that fighters would like. Certificates for shield 
blanks, food stuff, jewelry, etc.

This is a camping event, but we have a covered pavilion and hall for use.
