Subject: new ruling combat archery and rapier



Greetings!

Due to safety concerns, as illustrated most recently by an incident in
Atlantia that resulted in an apparent permanent injury, we regret that we
must make the following ruling:

It is now forbidden to use Baldar blunts on the rapier field.

Current standards for rapier armor do not provide sufficent protection,
especially for the neck and the back of the head. Due to these safety
concerns we are looking at all blunts currently being used on the rapier
field.
