Once again the Household of Griffin's Moon will be going to Fools War in
Macon mid April.
We seem to be the main (only?) Atlantian presence at this event in the past,
so we have taken it upon ourselves to again try to provide information and
assistance to those from our fair kingdom who plan to go.
PLEASE see the rules of combat at the Fools war site.....remember you must
fight with slager in rapier and all archers are heavy archers. There was
some confusion about this last year and some folks didn't get to play
because they had not checked out the rules.

One major change this year is the need for reservations and land grab! If
you plan to camp as a group you need to get these in within the next two
weeks or take your chances on finding space in the quiet areas or elsewhere
when you get there.
While it is a war, it is no longer an interkingdom war, so just pick a side
and have fun.
Several gentles asked last year about joining our meal plan for all or part
of the meals.
Ldy Johanna would like for those still interested in the full or partial
meal plan to contact her very soon. She wants to make arrangements with any
merchants from Atlantia who are interested to either bring your food to you
or have someone shop sit while you eat.
We hope to be camped between the road and the tennis courts, close to
merchant row to facilitate this.
If any good Atlantian gentles would like to camp with the household, please
contact us before you send in reservations to Fools War.
Members of the household who are planning to attend Fools War....MAKE SURE
YOU PUT GRIFFIN'S MOON on your reservations so we will qualify for the above
mentioned space, and GET YOUR RESERVATIONS IN ASAP!!!
We most probably also share this space with our allies from Klan Kannod as
we did last year. The folks from Painted Wheel who camped with us last
year, please contact us if you want to camp with us again this year.
If you plan to camp with us PLEASE put Atlantia and Griffin's Moon on your
reservation!
If you plan to participate in the meal plan, PLEASE notifiy Ldy Johanna
ASPA. Last year we fed around 30 people per meal which maxed out the
kitchen, so we must make plans to bring more stoves, etc if we have more
than that who plan to eat....help us plan for you!
