This will be the last time I annoy,...I mean inform
you all on Gulf Wars!
Remember that you cannot get on site until 7:00 a.m.
Monday morning! If you show up on Sunday (unless you
are a merchant), they will turn you away.
My staff and I will be on site Sunday getting
everything set up for your arrivial!
If you have learned recently that you can or cannot
attend, PLEASE let me know ASAP as I am leaving Friday
morning to head down. If you need to contact me after
that, you can call me on my cell at 703-599-4315.
PLEASE reserve this for serious issues (being lost
counts, btw).
I know a lot of people are planning on going to New
Orleans first. That is my home town and I wish you
lots of fun. I do caution you to be careful and stick
together. New Orleans is a pretty safe place, but be
smart! If you end up deciding to stay in New Orleans
becuase you are just having too much fun (don't laugh,
it has happened before), PLEASE let someone know so
that your friends don't worry about you.
If you are going to New Orleans and want suggestions
on fun stuff to do, please let me know and I will be
glad to give you information.
I have made my final cofirmation with the Land Staff.
We have enough land, but we dont have much extra! When
you arrive on site, you will find an area that is
marked with your name, or your groups name. PLEASE do
not take up more space that you have been assigned. If
you have any problems, PLEASE find myself or Lady
Lucia Anthony de Venice (my deputy). Remember to be
courteous to your neighbors! This is supposed to be
fun, right??!!! 
We will have sheet walls around the camp (thanks again
for the loan Mistress Anne), but if your group has
walls it wants to use around your area, that is fine.
I will also have pillars of flame set up at our camp
entrance, if you want to donate to help with the cost
of the propane, that would be welcomed.
We will have a "hospitality" area which will have some
munchies and beverages. I will be running this as well
so if you have anything you would like to donate to
this cause it will be GREATLY appreciated! We need
munchies that will keep all week and powdered
lemonade, etc. This is for the use of anyone in the
camp and for Their Majesties and their guests. 
When you arrive on site, check in at troll first and
we are right across the street from troll. Again, find
the spot that is marked for you, if you have questions
find me.
When you are done setting up, PLEASE park your car in
the lot. They tow cars at the DROP of a hat,and since
we are right across the street from troll, any
vehicles will be even more obvious.
So far the weather looks pretty good. Mid 60's up to
70's in the day and down in the 40s at night. There is
not a call for rain right now, but REMEMBER THIS IS
GULF WAR which means you can COUNT in it raining at
some point! So plan for it. Plastic bins are your
friends!!!!
That is pretty much it! Again, if you need me, you
need to get a hold of me today or tomorrow, then I
will be on the road and you will need to call me. I
want to say thank you to all the folks that have
helped me plan,the land and the equestrian staff who
helped me get the horse businesses settled and
especially to my deputy Lady Lucia, and to Lord Gaston
and Lord Miles who will be helping to set everything
up on site!
