Be It Knowne...

The Company of St. Leo in congress with the Goode people of the Barony of 
Bryn Madoc and the Company of St. Boniface present this Noble and Worthy 
Challenge to the Warriors and Ladies of the Knowne Worlde

Come Ye Gentle Ladies with Your Able and Steadfast Champions To Our
Pas De La Marche
to be held on Saturday, the 6th day of July

All Ladies choosing to enter a Champion into this Liste shall bring their 
Combatants to the field led by a golden chain.*  Each worthy Tourneyer shall 
then present his name, the blazon of his Armes, the name of his Consort** 
and his Challenge to the list.

The options for challenge shall be:

Three Counted Blows or Five
On a Bridge, at the Barrier, or on Open Ground
With Sword, Battleaxe, or Mace

Each Combatant shall enter the list and issue his challenge seeking a worthy 
opponent to answer their call to arms.

All Ladies present will be invited to sit in our gallery and offer tokens to 
the champions on the field; therefore, all ladies are requested to bring 
simple tokens to bestow.

Prizes for the Day shall be offered for:

Best Champion -- Ladies' Prize
Best period Armor -- Marshal's Prize
Best Presentation on the Field -- Herald's Prize
Finest Lady -- Knight of Honor's Prize

The List shall be opened on Saturday at 7 pm.
During the day a course shall be offered and a practice session held for the 
conduct of a passage of arms.

Come All Ye Nobles! The Gentility of Our Ladies and the Prowess of Our 
Champions Await You!

This Passage of Arms will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2002, at The Arts of 
War, an event sponsored by the Barony of Bryn Madoc, Meridies, and held on 
the shores of Hartwell Lake at Crescent Group Camp, conveniently located in 
the Canton of St. Georges, Barony of Nottinghill Coill, Atlantia.  For

* Should a noble and redoubtable Lady wish to contest in this Passage of
