Unto all those who read this does Gorm of Berra, Golden Dolphin Herald, send greetings:

It is now a short 6 1/2 weeks until Pennsic, so I am sure many folks minds are turning in that direction.

As you probably know, for the last several years, Atlantia has not accepted Heraldic submissions from "Herald's POint" at Pennsic, instead preferring to have our own separate table on some afternoon during War week.

The reasons for this decision are truly not worth discussing in this forum at this time, suffice it to say that decision was right then.

However, time has passed and it has been reconsidered. In consultation with Triton and the War Herald's staff, it is my belief that the problems which drove us away have been adequately solved, and it would do our populace a great service to return to the Main Point.

Therefore, I hereby announce (and it will be repeated in the Acorn at the appropriate time) that at the upcoming War, Atlantian subjects will be allowed, nay encouraged, to utilize the resources of the Pennsic Herald's Point Consultation table, and may submit names, devices, or other items of armory through it.

I feel compelled to point one thing out. submitting at Pennsic does NOT, I REPEAT NOT, speed up the judgement of your submission, ensure it's passage, or affect it in any way whatsoever. Items submitted at the Pennsic table will be considered by Atlantia in September, and by Laurel in January of 2003, as per usual procedure.

It is my hope that many will take advantage of this, and it is also my and Triton's hope that those Heralds of Atlantia who attend the War work and assist the entire Known World for at least one shift.

If anyone should encounter any issues with the Pennsic table at War, I encourage you to seek me out either at the War (I will be camping with the Chiurgeon's), or afterwards. I will be particularly interested in discovering if there are any problems.

In Service,

Gorm of Berra
Golden Dolphin Herald
