Just a short note to go over a few of the questions I've been getting
email on--

Alas, my flyer is incorrect- No open flame is permitted. None. Zip.
Zero. None. I don't know where my brain was when I wrote that one. :)

Sorry- due to the fact that the park has a quaint and still quite
functional clay pipe system -there is no camping- only cabin camping.
For the same reason- please check with the Autocrat or one of the field
deputies before pounding any stakes into the ground for dayshades, etc.
Some areas on the list field are ok. Some aren't- The Ranger has been
most thorough in telling us which areas are ok.

However, there *are* showers.

There will be a shuttle running from thelist fields to the main area
throughout the days events.

The A&S competition and the Silent Auction will be in the Main Castle, I
mean, Hall.

There are still seats left for the feast- Master Chirhart, assisted by
his able Household is cooking a menu prepared by our own Baroness Meli.

There are still places left for merchants. Remember, Merchants are our
favorite people!

There will be a play after the feast. Don't miss The Stierbach Players
first performance!

Children have a wonderful day planned for them, filled with all sorts of
activities to keep them well engaged and entertained.

Better directions are from Lord Robert of Canterbury:

Take I-95 to Virginia exit 152. You will be on Virginia
Rt. 234 heading towards Manassas. The Park entrance is
on left, when 234 becomes a two lane highway start
looking for the signs. Look for the sign for Cabins
Camp 1 and 4. Our event is in Camp 4.

And the amount of and variety of martial activities is overwhelming!
Archery, Rapier, Heavy Weapons, The Kingdom Thrown Weapons Tournament,
and maybe even some seige weaponry tryouts will fill our list fields
throughout the day.

Hope to see you there!

-Baroness Rowan Berran
Autocrat and Chief Cat Herder

But listen to me for one moment.
Quit being sad. Hear blessings
dropping their blossoms
around you. -Rumi
