Shakespeare.

While there is evidence to suggest both that he was a Catholic and a 
Protestant, the article clearly shows that at least he was raised with a 
rather Catholic background.  So, if Sts. Judith and Salome were venerated in 
his area, it is very likely that he was familiar with their story, which you
