One point separated the winnig Rattan team (the Queen's team) from the
runners up (Clan Ebonwoulfe) at this year's Return to Troy. Only 3
points separated the top two Rapier teams -- Babes in Elkinland and
Sbarro.

I am pretty sure that there was enough fighting, so next year we will
concentrate on increasing A&S participation.

There is a long list of people to blame this year's success on, starting
with his majesty, who designed all of the scenarios; the crew from
Triplette, who built and painted the modules; Sir William, who gave
invaluable advice on strengthening the sets; the numerous carpenters who
implemented the needed changes; the water bearers who emptied their
supply of water 4 times; the numerous people who donated water and fruit
during the day; the Chirugeon, whose services were fortunately but
lightly taxed; and those who marshalled the events -- most especially
the Queen's rapier team (Her Majesty's Secret Service) who abandoned an
excellent shot at winning in order to devote themselves fully to
marshalling. Through the efforts of Atlantians from near and far we had
a lovely weekend with good dancing, good food, good friends and good
fighting. Thank you all for coming and making this the fine event it
was.

We have begun to plan for next year, and welcome your suggestions. In my
groggy state I agreed this morning to autocrat once again, so please
send me whatever feedback you wish, positive or negative. I know that
we'll have at least 4 port-a-jons there.
