Here are the armored combat activities being offered at Coronation:

Four 20' by 20' lists will be open for three hours of round robin tourney
fighting. Fighters are encouraged to enter all four lists. Each list will
have its own MOL to keep things running smoothly and ensure that a fighter
is not called to two lists at the same time. The lists are:

List 1. Best of ten counted blows with greatswords. Two fighters will
compete with greatswords to be the first to strike six blows. Thrusting is
permitted. A fighter who leaves the list without being forced out by his
opponent will forfeit the bout. Each fighter will announce that he has been
struck with a good blow, but there shall be no pause in the fighting for
this purpose.

List 2. Sword and Matched Bucklers. Two fighters will combete with one
handed swords and center-grip bucklers. BUCKLERS WILL BE PROVIDED.
Thrusting is permitted. Fighters are reminded to armor their shield arms as
the bucklers will not protect the shield arm elbow. A fighter who leaves
the list without being forced out by his opponent will forfeit the bout.

List 3. Boarspears. Two fighters will compete with boarspears. Boarspears
(which are unpadded glaives sanctioned by the Crown for this event) will be
provided. Thrusting is permitted. A fighter who leaves the list without
being forced out by his opponent will forfeit the bout.

List 4. Open list. Fighters may compete with the weapons of their choice
in this list, which will be conducted according to standard Atlantian rules.

The Tourney Champion will be chosen by Padraigin based upon number of lists
entered, number of victories, courtesy in the lists, and field presence.
The Crown will also recognize individual examples of prowess, courtesy, and
field presence. I will do my utmost to make sure that if come ready to
engage fully in the combats I have designed, you will not be made to stand
in the sun for no good reason and we will run these tourneys as efficiently
as possible. I thank you in advance for your support.

Cuan, Prince of the Atlantians
